Aparicio "Djuca" Carvalho, 58, of Pawtucket,RI passed away on Good Friday, March 29th at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. Djuca was born on the Cape Verde Islands to the late Adao Soares Carvalho and Maria Helena Mosso on June 29, 1965. He worked at the Key Container Corporation for over 20 years. The only thing he loved more than working on his cars was his dear family. Djuca was truly a compassionate man and loved to spend time with his family, especially over food and music. He will truly be missed for his kindness, giving nature and beautiful smile. His legacy of love and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those that loved him.

Djuca is survived by his loving wife Lizette Depina of Pawtucket, RI. Djuca is survived by his 4 children: Fedra Simone Carvalho, Aparicio Jr. Valle, Nadine da Luz, and Erikson Carvalho. Djuca is survived by his many siblings including: Aderito Carvalho, Amerildo Carvalho and his wife Ana Carvalho, Artemisa Carvalho and her late husband Jacinto Santos, Arlete Carvalho and her husband Justiniano Araujo, Ana Paula Carvalho and her husband Nelito Barbosa, Amilcar Carvalho, Ze Mario Carvalho, Albertino Carvalho, and Anair Centeio and her husband Adilson Centeio.

He is also survived by his loving in-laws: Jose M Depina and Maria Filipa Depina. His brother in law Jose Antonio “Toze” Barbosa Depina and wife Alexandra Gomes and two sister in laws, Sedeneia “Nunu” de Jesus Depina and Ellizandra Barbosa. He is survived by 4 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews whom he treated as his own, family and friends.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, April 6th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson ave, Lincoln followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave. in Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 661 Prospect St, Pawtucket. A Repass will be held at the St. Anthony Church for those wishing to join the family. Visitation will be held at Keefe Funeral Home on Friday, April 5th from 4:00-7:00pm.
